The purpose of the letter is to inform the tour operator of the City Trip. The letter (350-450 words). 

It explains the choices behind the stories of your project. This will be input for your oral assessment.

Structure for your letter
- Make your letter follow this structure:

- Write a brief introduction (aim is to introduce a new City Trip/ why?)

- Use one paragraph with 1 or 2 sentences per story (explain each story)

- Write a brief last paragraph (about future plans/ next steps)

Motivation letter (assignment 2)
To further assist you in your preparation for the 2nd formative oral assessment in week 6, you will write a professional, formal letter. The letter explains the choices behind the stories of your project 1.2. 
 You will write the letter to the senior management of the tour operator that your project group works for. The letter must contain 350 - 450 words and will be included in the English portfolio 1.3.

No contractions in formal writing
Use formal language:
'We would like' to etc.

Not:  Don't, Won't, Can't

Objective of the formal letter


The letter to the senior management of your tour company justifies and elaborates on why you made the choices behind the city trip.  

You will persuade senior management to add your city trip to the products already offered by tour operator.
