Modelling
Modelling is used at all stages of the design process to help visualise and test your ideas.
In most cases it is important to model to scale because it:
take less time
use less materials
enables a designer to visualise ideas effectively

There are a variety of materials that can be used for modelling.
Consider if you design :
- requires straight or curved corners?
- needs to be transparent or opaque?
- has to have open and close parts? etc.
