Intercultural sensitivity: The Essentials
Open-mindedness & curiosity: Be open to new encounters and ask questions. Try to discover cultural differences, rather than neglecting them.
No fear: Don't be afraid. Remember: the other person experiences it in the same way you do.
Respect: Be respectful to each other. Sometimes it's better to keep an opinion to yourself if you think it might offend someone.
Patience & tolerance: Be patient with each other, let each other speak and don't take things too personally when they don't go as you'd expect.
Share your own culture and experiences: Be kind to each other and remember you are all learning something new! Don't hold back to share things about your own culture and talk about your experiences to your group members, classmates and teachers.
