1. Past Simple (verleden tijd);
2. Past Continuous (duurvorm verleden tijd).

Beiden gebruik je als je het hebt over iets wat eerder (in het verleden) gebeurd is.

Een gebeurtenis in het verleden met een duidelijk begin en einde.	Een gebeurtenis in het verleden die enige tijd duurde (aan-het-doen)

Yesterday I cooked dinner for my family.	I was read ing a book (when.......)

During this lesson, ask feedback from your teacher!

Finish the postcard. Write the final version on the back of your printed picture or drawing. Hand it in when you're finished.

At the beginning of next class, you hand in your finished postcard.
