By the end of this lesson, you know what to expect at the unit test.

You know what you still need to practice before the test.

Open a word doc / get a piece of paper to write your answers on.

Tip: imagine that this is a "story-board". You are only adding the main points of the story.

Example

1. He was thinking about his love life when he saw something.

2. While the frog was waving his little legs, Romeo came closer.

3. Romeo was kissing the frog when all of a sudden it said something.

4. While they were talking, they fell in love.

Expectations

• use English as much as possible - mistakes? No problem! 
• be active and participate in the class
• laptops half-closed when not in use = when I'm explaining things
  
• listen to the person who has the floor
• got a question? -> raise your hand
• didn't finish work in class? = homework! 

• Example:
• On Wednesdays, I used to go to swimming lessons.
  We didn't use to eat pizza on Fridays.

Does your story have a beginning, middle, and end?

Did you use the past continuous to set the scene/background info? (e.g. The sun was shining as I started my hike)

Did you use the past simple to describe the problem/main events? (e.g. All of a sudden dark clouds rolled in)

Did you use linkers? - At the beginning, suddenly, luckily, all of a sudden, in the end, finally..........

Did you say how you felt? + final comment? (I'll never forget...., It was the best day.......)
