Speak in public

Spreken in het openbaar is voor bijna iedereen lastig. We gaan het dan ook laagdrempelig aanpakken. Bereid een Engelse tekst voor over een onderwerp naar keuze en lees die hardop voor in de klas. We luisteren en geven eventueel feedback. Kies een tekst van tussen de 300 en 400 woorden. Dat kunnen ook meerdere korte teksten zijn. 

How to study?

• The book contains 12 Units with different subjects. 
• In each Unit you'll find different skills such as Reading, Grammar, Listening, Use of English, etc.
• Try to understand what the method tries to communicate.
• Always get the bigger picture first. (see next slide)

Lets look at the bigger picture?

• Unit 1 is about different aspects of LIFE.
• Life is about: Work, Freetime, Happiness, etc.
• Answer the questions in the next slides. 

What means LIFE to you?
Write down at least 3 things

Read the text of exercise 2A at page 8 of your book.
Answer question 2A and discuss 2B with a fellow student.
