Present simple future

De present simple future gebruik je voor: 

1. schema's (bus of trein tijden / openings- en sluitingstijden)
--> The train leaves at 7 o'clock.
--> The shops close at 9 p.m.
2. Georganiseerde evenementen
--> The festival is next week. 

Will/shall

Will/shall gebruik je:

1. om iets aan te bieden (offers)
2. beloftes (promises)

3. voorspellingen (predictions)

Die op het moment van praten worden gemaakt. 

Will/shall

1. I will help you find clothes for your date. (offer)
2. I promise, I will go to your party. (promise)
3. I think I will pass this test. (prediction)

Shall gebruik je bij vragen die alleen over I en we gelden.
Shall we have dinner together tomorrow?
Shall I do the dishes tonight?

Present continuous future

De present continuous future gebruik je voor:

1. toekomstige plannen die al gemaakt zijn.
--> I am flying to Toronto next week.

2. afspraken die al gemaakt zijn.
--> I am attending a housewarming party next week.
--> My friend is having her birthday party tomorrow.

I am leaving for a trip to Spain in two weeks.
