Present Simple

   Vorm:

   Stam van werkwoord (simpelste vorm)

   Na she / he / it (shit-regel)   >    +s 

   I live > he lives

   Eindigt het woord op een s-klank?     watch > watches

   Eindigt het woord op een medeklinker + -y?   Carry > carries 

Present Simple

   Vragen:

   She walks to school.    >    Does she walk to school? 

   You walk to school.    >    Do you walk to school?

   Ontkenningen: 

   She walks to school.    >    She doesn't walk to school.

   You walk to school.    >    You don't walk to school.

Present Continuous

   Vorm:

   am / is / are + -ing vorm  

   I am / He is / We are looking for a restaurant. 

   Let op! Put > putting      en     give > giving

   Vraag: Am I / Is he / Are we looking for a restaurant? 

   Ontkenning: I am / he is / we are not looking for a restaurant.

Om aan te geven dat er tegelijkertijd iets anders bezig was.

Om aan te geven dat er op een gegeven moment iets anders gebeurde.
