Conquer....

The Spaniards send many expeditions to the new world
- Looking for new riches.

Within 200 years, much of the newly discovered American continent will be conquered by Spain.
- Become Spanish colonies.
- They build plantations.

And the people?

Millions of people in America die during colonization.
This could happen because:
- The native Americans were less advanced in than the Europeans (in certain aspects).
       - The Europeans had better weapons and armor.
- The Europeans had brought a lot of diseases from Europe.
- Many native Americans worked on plantations as slaves which caused many to die.
