- soms verdubbelt de laatste medeklinker,vaak bij korte ww en bij ww die eindigen op -l

- eindigt het ww op een -e, dan valt deze weg als je er -ing aan vastplakt

- eindigt het ww op een -c, dan wordt dit ck+ing

to panic: I am panicking

Klinker + medeklinker (dan verdubbelt de laatste medeklinker)
