Wat gaan we doen? We gaan vloggen!

You have probably all seen a VLOG. Name some of the vloggers that you know.

Goal of the assignment

At the end of the lesson series students can record a vlog of 2 to 5 minutes introducing themselves and talk about their family, their home, their hobbies, their pets, their sport or what they like to do in their free time.

Aan het einde van de lessenserie kunnen leerlingen een vlog opnemen van 2 tot 5 minuten waarin ze zichzelf introduceren en praten over hun familie, hun woonomgeving, hun hobbies, hun huisdieren, hun sport of wat ze leuk vinden om te doen in hun vrije tijd.

Words that we need to use

Fill in the gaps in the exercise I handed out. Make sure to use the words at the top of the page to fill the gaps. After you have filled all the gaps, translate the words you used. There is a spot to write the translation under every sentence.

Hello, I am mw. Seetz. I am twenty five years old and I live in Leiden with my husband and my daughter. My daughter is called Jessie and she is almost 1,5. I am a teacher at the Fioretti College Hillegom. I have a cat, her name is Baloe and she is very cute. In my free time I do scouting every Saturday, walking in the woods with my family and play boardgames. I also like to go on vacation, some countries I visited include Japan, America and Korea. We go on vacation to do winter sports once a year. I like to do snowboarding, but my husband likes skiing more. Now you have learned something about my life. I hope you enjoyed my video, bye!

The text for your VLOG 

1. Must have at least 3 words from chapter 1 and 3 words from chapter 2
2. Must have at least 3 sentences from chapter 1 and 3 sentences from chapter 2.
3. Must be at least 100 words (as seen in the example)
4. Must have an introduction, middle and conclusion (as seen in the example).
5. Must have correct use of the Present Simple (He works, She likes, He does, She is).

You have time to write the text for your VLOG now. Use Document 1 provided in Classroom to write the text and hand it in at the end of class.
