Learning objective

• At the end of this lesson, the students will be able to write a coherent text in English of at least 200 words about a person they admire. The text should have a clear structure, with multiple paragraphs, and describe at least four different aspects of the person.
  
• You will achieve this learning objective by completing exercises beforehand.

• You are now going to work on the exercises in the handout.
• Start with the first exercise, "Preparation," to work on your vocabulary. 
• You have a few minutes to complete this before we check the answers together. 
• Afterwards, you can read the text individually and work on the other three exercises.

Writing 

• Describe their physical features. What do they look like?  Do they have any distinctive features (hair color, height, eye color, etc.)?
  
• What kind of person are they? Are they kind, funny, serious, or adventurous? How do they treat other people? Are they known for being helpful, supportive, or understanding?

• What specific talents or skills do they have that you admire? Are they good at sports, arts, music, or academics? Give examples of how they use their talents. Have they performed, won awards, or created something special?
  
• What are some of their achievements (dingen die zij bereikt hebben)? How have their achievements impacted you or others? Why do these achievements make you admire them?
