PRESENT  & PAST CONTINUOUS 

 present & past continuous

Hoe ziet het er uit?

Nu : am/is/are+ hele werkwoord + ing

Verleden T.: was / were + hele werkwoord + ing

Voorbeeld:  To work

I am working right now.

I was working last night.

Present Continuous

When you are doing something right now:

- I am learning English

- You are listening to a story

- He is watching a TV show

Past  Continuous

Wordt gebruikt bij een activiteit die in het verleden een langere tijd aan de gang was en nu is gestopt. 

Je gebruikt was/were + werkwoord + ing

bijvoorbeeld:

We were playing tennis at the hotel.

They were thinking about getting a dog.

I was playing a game with my sister.

Always use a form of 'to be' and verb + ing
