AESTHETICS

Form is a 3-dimensional solid object

Location is important when positioning parts, images and components on a product

Colour can be used for function (red = stop; green = start) as well as aesthetics.

Texture

Texture can be added for function (e.g. grip) or for decorative reasons. 

Natural or manufactured texture

Assignment

You can choose:

- create a moodboard with examples of your favorite aesthetics (as mentioned in 1.8.7)

- use the links in the next slides, copy your favorite work of these 3 designers and answers the two questions of the Skills Activity (work in Canva or PowerPoint)
