We use superlative adjectives to say that something is at the minimum or maximum of an adjective.


We add the word 'the' before a superlative:
The [adjective] ____.

Short adjectives:
Adjective + -est


strong -> strongest
I am the strongest person in the class.

Double final consonant + -est

big -> biggest
That is the biggest hamburger I have ever seen.
