Presentation time!

Intro presentaties

Bij Engels werk je aan vaardigheden, zoals lezen en luisteren. 

Eén van deze vaardigheden is spreken. 

De presentatie is voor een cijfer.

Aan welke eisen jouw presentatie moet voldoen leer je in deze les.

Boek delen     1

Als het goed is heb je jouw titel (minimaal 100blz) gemaild naar jouw docent. 

Heb je dat nog niet gedaan? 

Stuur jouw onderwerp via Magister.

Maak er een net berichtje van.

Bij jouw presentatie hoort een Powerpoint of Prezi. 

Gebruik de volgende tips bij het maken van een presentatie:

Gebruik steekwoorden

De volgende slides vertellen over wat er precies in jouw presentatie naar voren moet komen

- the title of the book;

- who is the author and tell some interesting about him/her (search the Internet);

- who is the illustrator;

- who is the publisher (uitgever) of the book;

- whether the book has been translated from English into other languages;

- why you have chosen to read and tell about this book;

- who are the main characters (these can be people but also animals); tell how they are: kind, mean, weird, secretive, etcetera; and what they look like.

- where the story takes place (in Zoetermeer, in a faraway country, at school, at the camping site, or an imaginary place etcetera);

- when the story takes place (now, in the past, a long time ago, at night, in summer etcetera);

- the contents of the book; use about two minutes for this part and mind that you don’t reveal how the story ends;

- a fragment from your book (no more than one page). Choose a part from your book. Tell very shortly what precedes that fragment in the book and then read the fragment. Of course you choose a beautiful, exciting, fun part from your book.

- why do you think the title does or doesn’t suit the book;

- what is your own opinion of the story/book (scary, pleasant, funny, sad, exciting, stupid etcetera and why);

- which other books this author has written. Show them in your ppt.

Spreek hardop

Zet ook een timer aan (je moet tussen de 5 en 7 minuten aan het praten zijn in jouw presentatie).

Vraag een broer/zus om even mee te luisteren. Misschien hebben ze nog goede tips!

Presentatie houden 5

Schrijf je presentatie niet uit op een blaadje, want dan ga je snel voorlezen terwijl je moet presenteren.

Gebruik de kernwoorden in je Powerpoint als spiekbrief, of neem kleine kaartjes mee met daarop kernwoorden (zoals een presentator van het journaal).

Neem je tijd, spreek rustig, en als je een woord vergeet in het Engels, probeer het dan te omschrijven.
