We kennen in het Nederlands drie lidwoorden: de, het & een.

In het Engels zijn er twee lidwoorden: the & a/an.
Deze les focussen we op het gebruik van the.

LIKE / AS

Like en as worden gebruikt om een vergelijking te maken tussen mensen of dingen. 

LIKE

Like wordt gebruikt om iets te zeggen over zelfstandig naamwoorden en persoonlijke voornaamwoorden.

Dit betekent dat je like gebruikt om iets te zeggen over:

- Hoe een persoon of ding iets doet.

- Hoe een persoon of ding eruit ziet.

AS

As gebruik je voor bijzinnen en in combinatie met voorzetsels.

Dit betekent dat je as gebruikt om iets te zeggen over:

- Waarvoor iets gebruikt wordt.

- Het beroep dat iemand beoefent.

- De tijd waarin iets gebeurt.
