• Aan het einde van de les heb ik opgehaald wat ik nog weet over the future tense in English.
• Aan het einde van de les kan ik de 4 toekomstvormen toepassen.

Future = toekomende tijd

Alles wat niet al gebeurd is (verleden tijd) en niet nu aan de gang is (tegenwoordige tijd). Dus alles wat nog moet 

gebeuren.

To be going to - Alle zinnen waarbij je in het Nederlands gaan gebruikt.

We gaan zwemmen. We are going to swim

Present continuous. I am having a party. Dingen die je snel hebt afgesproken en waarbij alles is afgesproken (tijd, plaats, met wie etc)

Look at the sky. It is going to rain tonight.

• Gaat waarschijnlijk gebeuren op een specifieke tijd

• At 8 o’clock I will be watching the show.
  
• This time next week they will be giving a speech.
