Sci-fi

Sci-fi is usually forward facing, asking questions about new technologies and current problems by taking them into the extreme. 

Isaac Asimov wrote about A.I. and the inherent ethical questions in his short stories. His three laws of robotics have been the foundation of many A.I. development arguments.

Three Laws of Robotics

First Law: A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

Second Law: A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

Third Law: A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

- Is the story positive or negative on technology?
