Tag questions
Een tag is een korte vraag aan het einde van een zin: ...., is it? / ...., isn't it? 

De spreker vraagt hiermee eigenlijk: Ben je het met me eens?

In het Nederlands zeg je vaak iets als: nietwaar? /  hè? /  toch? / vind je niet?

Na een bevestigende (+) zin is een tag ontkennend (-).
Na een ontkennende (+) zin is een tag bevestigend (-).
