Humanists are inspired by the Classical works and mostly study its literature. They believed that humans could grow and develop themselves.
To accomplish personal groth for everyone they thought education and upbringing were very important.
As an individual you only live once and therefore you have to make something beautiful of your life AND society. (Motto?)
