Understanding Fractions

Converting to Decimals

To convert a fraction to a decimal, divide the numerator by the denominator. This gives the decimal equivalent of the fraction.

Decimal to Percentage

To convert a decimal to a percentage, multiply by 100 and add the percentage symbol (%).
