            gaat.

which -gebruik je als de extra informatie in de zin (de                  clause) over een dier of ding gaat.

This is the dog which barks every night

There is the bridge which we have to cross.

that - gebruik je als het over personen, dieren of

           dingen gaat. That is informeler dan who of 

            which
