Do the exercises and take notes! You are expected to know this for the next couple lessons.

Past Simple: What do you remember?

Read the following past simple sentences:

• Yesterday, I played the piano with the orchestra.
  
• We went to see the ice hockey game last night. 
  
• Did you see the Planet Earth documentaries?
  
• She didn't tell me that she is pregnant!

Onregelmatige vormen moet je uit je hoofd leren

Je gebruikt de past simple voor dingen die altijd waar zijn. 

Je ontkent een past simple door 'didn't + het hele werkwoord' te gebruiken 

Je maakt vragen in de past simple door 'did' vooraan de zin te zetten.

In de past simple staat altijd een tijdsbepaling
