shahada, prayer, charity, ramadan, hadj 

There are many names for Jahannam (Hell) in the Arabic language. Find one online, and write it down. Write down the meaning in English as well.

The story of Iblis

- Iblis (or Iblees): the Devil (ash-Shaytan)

- Creation story: angels made out of light on Wednesday, jinn from a 'smokeless fire' on Thursday, and humans from Clay-mud on Friday.

- Iblis considered himself superior to the human Adam, and refused to bow for him and was punished by God (Allah) and sent to Hell.

- Iblis made a deal with God: he was allowed to tempt and mislead the humans, to see if they are worthy

According to the Qur'an, there are 12 layers of heaven (also called Jannat) and 8 doors leading to them.

On the right, you can see an image of what some of the layers look like. 

Use Google to find out what Muslims think that heaven looks like. Make a short description of 5-10 sentences, and hand it in on the following slide.
