Writing your own news story
  • Read the article in the reader (page 5-8). 
  • Then write a news story about something which you care about. 
  • Use at least 2 puns, 2 understatements and 2 exaggerations.
  • Make sure you use the past tenses correctly. 
  • Your article should be about 200 words.
