• Als je wilt zeggen dat iets van iemand is zet je 's of s' achter de naam/ het onderwerp.
• Bij enkelvoud= (kan) altijd -'s (ook als de naam op een s eindigt)
• Terrens's car, My brother's room 
• Bij meervoud= eindigt het woord al op een -s? = alleen ' & anders 's --> His parents' car, The children's toys, My brothers' room (= meervoud, want het is de kamer van jouw broers (dus meerdere broers))
