Goal: you understand what the past continuous is about and you can form the correct verb forms using the past continuous in a sentence.

PAST CONTINUOUS

You use the past continuous for ...
(1) actions happening at a time in the past. 

(2) for two or more actions happening at the same time in the past.

Luckily, it was not raining that evening. 

I was taking a shower this morning.
