Future Simple

Present continuous

De present continuous gebruik je voor de tegenwoordige tijd maar ook voor de toekomst.

In de future(toekomst) gebruik je deze tijd om te praten over afspraken in de nabije toekomst.
Deze afspraken staan vast. De tijd/plaats ervan staat vast.

Future Simple

am/is/are (not) + hele werkwoord + ing	Afspraken in de nabije toekomst waarvan tijd en/of plaats al vaststaat in the nabije toekomst.	I am visiting the dentist after school. He isn't running a marathon this weekend. I am celebrating my birthday tomorrow.

I am meeting him tomorrow at 6 pm.
We are flying to Italy next week.
James is running a marathon in April.
She is visiting her cousin that day.
They are seeing a new film next week.

Ontkenning met present continuous

Wil je de present continuous in een ontkenning gebruiken?
voeg not toe aan am/are/is.
I am not seeing her tonight.
James is not/isn't running a marathon in April.

Hoe maak je een present continuous?

Use the present continuous:
(walk) She ....... to school now.

Use the present continuous:
(talk) They ...... about the movie.

Use the present continuous:

Use the present continuous:
