2. What is CLIL?
CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning. 
Language and content are brought together in such a way that they enhance each other.

- create as many lessons as we can in English
- each lesson has at least 1 language goal and 1 content goal
- professional and open learning environment in which we work together (content and language teachers) and help each other and we are aware of what our colleagues are teaching
- active learning environment for the students (focus on speaking and writing)

Why we believe CLIL methodology is a good thing
* it improves student motivation
* the communication skills of students develop more effectively
* meaningful interaction
* speaking and writing skills improve tremendously
* CLIL developes cultural awareness
* CLIL learners are prepared for studying in another language

Our job as CLIL coach:

    *keeping the CLIL vibe alive
    *prepare lessons together with the teachers (when asked)
    *give feedback on the use of English of the teachers (when asked)
    *check together with the teachers if the material is suitable (CEFR)
    *promote teamwork and collaboration between content and language teachers
    *get feedback from students on CLIL lessons

  * colleagues come to us with a CLIL dilemma

  * giving tips on how to make the lessons more CLIL (CLIL lesson visit form)
