Trailer (Literature)

Lesson goals

Listening Goal: You will be able to identify and interpret sounds to predict the tone and events of a scene, thus improving your listening skills.

Critical Thinking Goal: You will use your imagination to visualize and create a scene based on auditory input, enhancing your creative thinking.

Writing Goal: You will write a reflective diary entry from the perspective of a character, improving your writing skills.

Literature Goal: You will analyze and infer the genre and themes of a story based on its trailer, enhancing your understanding of literature.

Step 1: Listen Without Watching

You will listen to the first 30 seconds of the trailer without watching it. Focus on the sounds and use your imagination to visualize the scene.
