It needed to be a sport which would keep students fit.

In 1936, when Naismith was 75 years old, basketball officially became part of the Olympic Games.

Naismith was working in Massachusetts, which is really cold in the winter.

"My brother who lives in Italy has a nice flat."
Which is true?

1. I have multiple brothers
2. I only have one brother

"My brother who lives in Italy has a nice flat."

This is a defining relative clause (no comma's!)

Defining relative clause = You need this information to know who the speaker is talking about. 

Because 'my brother' is not enough information, you can assume the speaker has multiple brothers.
