If you do this, you'll win secret student points! Every lesson, I watch the behavior of 1 secret student. If this student is present, responsible, respectful and awesome, the class gets 1 point. 10 points = fun lesson!

Welcome back! What is the biggest injustice you know of?

Do you think you have the power to do something about this injustice?

Keep a PIF in your notebook/word-file

• Expectation (verwachting) = what you want or believe will happen. 
• Injustice (onrechtvaardigheid) = something that is not fair. 
• Power (macht)= the ability to influence others (can be negative or positive!).
• Add your own example sentences and words that                         are new/difficult/etc. for you!

Head (what?): what is the injustice this person is/was fighting?
Heart (why?): what happened in his/her life that moved this person to fight the injustice?

Legs (when and where?): when and where did this happen?  

Arms  (how?): which actions did this person take to fight the injustice and influence others?

Stomach: were the actions at a local, national or global level?

Can one person change the world?

1. Yes, history is full of examples of people who did!
2. Yes, but only if you find many others to fight with you.
3. No, but you can change small things in your own surroundings
4. No, your influence as one person is too small to create real change.

In 2015, the countries of the world asked themselves this question for the first time...
