'have to' --> moet / soort van verplicht. Het moet van iemand anders dus je zegt: I have to/you have to etc.
net zoals: you have to brush your teeth every day.

Als je 'must' gebruikt is dat omdat jij als spreker vindt dat iets moet: I must go home at once. Of: you must hand in your portfolio before the deadline.
