The End Goal

You will find out as much information as you can about your country and then give a presentation to the class about it.

This is a mandatory GC Assignment and will be graded as Voldoende/Onvoldoende

Country Project: Day One

What do I need to do?

• Last week we created groups of three (one of four). You will now be given a country 
• You will need to work together at a group members house on Thursday afternoon, so make sure that you have worked out how you are going to get to that person's house!

Fill in the booklet as neatly as possible, make sure all the questions are completed by the end of today.

Second hour and third hour: Work on project

Fourth hour: Group 1 and 2 Cookery workshop in 046 and 048

Sixth hour:Wear something comfortable as you have Capoeira workshop in sports hall 1

1. Work on  your Country Project Booklet
   
2. Choose a recipe to make Thursday  afternoon, remember to consider: Will it be tasty eaten cold? Are all the ingredients readily available (Alligator burgers), is it easy to transport?
3. Each group member needs to take screenshots of the Country Project Booklet and load the pages up to their own Google Classroom Folder. Booklet to be left with the teacher.

Let's go through it together

PRESENTATION DAY 

On Friday each group will present their country using the information learnt throughout the project. 

• You can choose your own way to make a presentation. PowerPoint, prezi, film or a poster. 
  
• It must contain interesting information that maybe, you did not know before. 

Presentations

• Needs to be 10 minutes
• Each member of the group needs to speak IN ENGLISH
• After the presentation, you have 5 minutes to share your baked goodies. 
• While watching the presentations, you must fill in at least three things that you have learnt from the presentation using the form you have been given. 

You may use something like this to help with your presentation

Creative people may like to try this

or you can use a....

• Powerpoint
• Any other idea, as long as you have checked with your teacher first and that it can eventually be loaded up to Google Classroom.

On Friday.......

1. Don't forget to hand in your INDIVIDUAL booklet and the personal feedback form (back of the booklet) MUST BE LOADED UP TO SIMULISE before you leave.
2. You also need to write three things  that you have learnt from each group presentation.
3. Plus the cookery book exercise

In your group you will choose one recipe that you can bake. This recipe will be handed in with the following:- In Google docs, in Google Classroom

- In English

- Font size 12

- Include a picture

- List of ingredients

- Baking instructions

- Include country name

You will hand this in via Google Classroom!

Deadline: 18th April 2025.

WITH YOUR GROUP YOU WILL BAKE THIS RECIPE AT HOME ON THURSDAY AND

WILL BRING IT TO CLASS ON FRIDAY.
