Understand the 4 ways we can describe something happening in the future

The Future

Present Simple -> werkwoord of werkwoord +s

Present Continuous -> am, is, are werkwoord +ing

Future Simple -> will + werkwoord

                              -> am, is, are going to werkwoord

Als iets in de toekomst gebeurt volgens een schema

• The train leaves at 8:00 in the morning.

Als iets afgesproken is in de toekomst

• We are meeting my parents for dinner tomorrow

Voor zwakke voorspellingen

• My psychic told me I will meet my soulmate this month.

Voor gunsten, beloftes, en wensen

• I will bake a cake for your birthday party.

Voor sterke voorspelling

• Look at those clouds. It is going to rain soon.

Voor plannen

• I am going to go to Norway during the Summer holidays.

Use the Future tense when giving the English for the words in brackets.

My plane (vertrekken) ... at 5.30 p.m.
