Over een ander bijwoord:

The children were playing very wildly. 

Over een hele zin:

Thankfully, the children played outside. 

Plaats in the zin:

Voor een hoofdwerkwoord.

Na een vorm van be

Aan het begin of einde van de zin voor nadruk. 

Vorm: 

Vaak: Bijv. nw +ly -> real-really
