- Compounds are formed by combining some, any, no, every  
   with: -thing (for things) -body / -one (people) -where (places) - no(in all cases)

  For example:

Gerunds and to + infinitive

 a verb (ww) + ing = noun (zelfstandig naamwoord)
We call this: the gerund

shop (verb) + ing = shopping (noun)               = gerund
game (verb) + ing = gaming                                  = gerund
eat (verb) + ing = eating                                            = gerund

Je kunt een gerund gebruiken na werkwoorden zoals: Love, stop, start and finish, hate.
