Veel:

In een positieve zin > a lot of/lots of.                                                         

In een vragende of ontkennende (met 'not'): much of many.        

much: Voor zelfstandige naamwoorden die je niet kan optellen

many: Voor zelfst. naamw. die je wèl kan optellen (meervoud)   

Na 'too, as, so .....': much of many

     

Weinig / een beetje / een paar

Weinig: 

'little' voor zelfst. naamw. die je niet kan optellen.                     

'few' voor zelfst. naamw die je wèl kan optellen (meervoud)

een beetje: 'a little'

een paar: 'a few'

Past continuous

• Gebruik je om aan te geven dat iets vroeger aan de gang was: (I was reading a book when he walked in) 
• Maak je door was/were te gebruiken + het werkwoord met -ing erachter. 
• Bij werkwoorden die eindigen op een -e gaat de -e weg als er -ing achter komt.
• Je maakt de zin ontkennend door wasn't/weren't te gebruiken.

4. have/has+werkwoord+ing

Wanneer gebruik je de Past Continuous?

1. Wanneer iets altijd, nooit of regelmatig gebeurt.
2. Wanneer iets in het verleden een tijdje aan de gang was
3. Wanneer iets in het verleden is gebeurd.
4. Wanneer iets in het verleden is begonnen en nu nog bezig is.

Vul de past continuous in:
