The Gerund

The Gerund is a noun (zelfstandig naamwoord) made out of a verb (werkwoord).

Morgen ga ik zwemmen.

Ik vind  zwemmen leuk.

Verb+ing = The Gerund 

You always put a gerund after the following words:

hate, like, love, enjoy, stop, finish, start, begin, to look forward to
