PAST CONTINIOUS

Je gebruikt de past continuous als je zegt wat er op een bepaald moment in het verleden aan de gang was of wat je toen aan het doen was. Enkele signaalwoorden zijn when en while.

Je maakt de past continuous met de verleden tijd van to be (was / were) + werkwoord + -ing.
