What do we use the Present Continuous for?

 The Present Continuous is used to show that an action is happening:

• Now
• Often
• May continue in the future
  

Present Continuous

What is the Present Continuous?

The Present Continuous always uses:

• 2 verbs in the present
  
• A form of to be (am, is, are)
• a verb that ends in -ing

Turn the Present Simple sentences into Present Continuous sentences, and then make all the sentences negative (5 minutes):
