Reflexive pronouns & each other. 

Reflexive pronouns geburik je als je terug wilt wijzen naar de persoon in de zin. 

Me - Myself. --> I did that myself. 

You - Yourself  --> You drove yourself here? 

They - Themselves --> They feel really good about themselves.

We gebruiken each other als 2 of meer mensen het zelfde doen tegen of naar elkaar. 

Ava & Patrick are mad at each other.

Grammar: If and when 

If en when geven beide aan onder wat voor omstandigheden dingen gebeuren. 

if: gebruik je als je denk dat iets ZOU KUNNEN gebeuren .

when: gebruik je als je ZEKER WEET dat iets gaat gebeuren. 

If I go out later, I'll close the door. 

When we fly to Spain, I will be very nervous. 

I'll be so annoyed ..... rains today.

Conditionals 

Conditional = een voorwaardelijke zin. 

Er zit dus een voorwaarde aan. Je gebruikt hem bij het feiten, waarschijnlijke en onwaarschijnlijke situaties. 

Conditional 

Ze bestaan uit een if clause en een main clause. De if clause (de if zin) beschrijft de voorwaarde. De main clause (hoofdzin) beschrijft het resultaat

If i had money, I would buy a house -> Ik zou een huis kopen ALS ik geld had. --> Het geld hebben is dus de voorwaarde. 

We can drive past McDonalds, if you help me study after --> Het helpen met studeren is de voorwaarde aan het langs de McDonalds rijden. 

Conditionals

o conditional: resultaat is een feit + beide zinnen staan in Present Simple 

---> If it rains, the street becomes wet (beide in t.t.)

1st conditional: resultaat is voorspelling. Gebruik will + stam 

--> If I pay attention, I will remember it (beide in t.t.)

2nd conditional: resultaat is bedacht of niet echt. Gebruik would + stam

--> If I had a dog, I would be happy. (v.t.)

If i lived in America, I .......... (to speak) in a different language.

Plants ..... (to grow) if they get enough water.

If we take care of the planet, everything ..... (to be) all right.

If you can see the sun, it ........ (to be) day time.
