Bijwoorden van frequentie komen voor het hoofdwerkwoord.

Melanie never drinks coffee.

Behalve als er een vorm van 'to be' (am/are/is/was/were) staat.

Melanie is always late. 

Grammar: Adverbs of place & time

Bijwoorden van plaats en tijd komen achteraan in de zin. Plaats komt altijd voor tijd!

She is going to London in May. 

I went to Spain last year.
