• Reflexive pronouns all end in -self or -selves
• A reflexive pronoun always refers to the -subject (het onderwerp) of the sentence.

Grammar 10a Reflexive pronouns

• In het NL: Wederkerende voornaamwoorden.

• Gebruik je wanneer je refereert aan het onderwerp van de zin: 
• Ik keek naar mezelf in de spiegel - I looked at myself in the mirror.

• Het onderwerp van de zin bepaald welk voornaamwoord je gebruikt.
