De boodschapper van Allah (vzmh) zei tegen een man:
“Bind je kameel vast en vertrouw vervolgens op Allah!” (Tirmidhi)  


Beknopte uitleg:  
- Alleen bidden is niet genoeg. Doe ook je uiterste best om je doel te bereiken.  
- Heb je een toets / examen? Vertrouw op Allah, maar bereid je tegelijkertijd ook goed voor.  

- Doe wat in je macht ligt, zoals het vastbinden van je kameel, en de rest laat je over aan Allah.  
In de Koran: Voorwaar Allah verandert de toestand van een volk niet, totdat zij (eerst) veranderen wat er in henzelf is.
