Introduction

This is a lesson all about 'Earth Day' - a day to recognise climate change and the environmental impact of humans on the planet. The lesson is designed to introduce students to the concepts of climate change, but then highlight the small steps they can take to help impact the situation. This lesson culminates in a group discussion around how they, as a class, can come up with a project to demonstrate climate-forward thinking to the rest of the school - but it is left to the class teacher to decide if and how to implement this! If this lesson has inspired your class to take action, please send us an update on what you have done to support@lessonup.com - Any pictures or write ups might be shared in a future newsletter around the world!
