imagine this.
You have 60 hours to do all these things at the same time:
run 5 or 6 marathons while also running up and down the Mount Everest twice while doing a big treasure hunt in a wild forest with nothing but a paper map and a compass.

The Barkley Marathons are a race made to be nearly impossible. They want to test how far people are able to push themselves.
The race has been held for over 30 years and only 14 people have ever finished the race.

Part 1
We follow Gary Robbins in his attempt to run the Barkley 100 Marathons. Gary is a very talented runner and The Barkley will be his biggest challenge yet.
