Filmmaker and adventurer Dean Potter doesn't always BASE jump alone. Sometimes he takes the plunge with his dog, Whisper, strapped to his back. This trailer features wingsuit flight footage from Potter's film "When Dogs Fly."
BASE jumping = jumping from fixed objects, using a parachute to descend safely to the ground.

"BASE" stands for four categories of fixed objects from which one can jump:
  • Buildings
  • Antennas (referring to radio masts)
  • Spans (bridges)
  • Earth (cliffs)
