Present Simple
Dit gebruik je als in de zin duidelijk is dat het elke dag/week/uur/etc gebeurt of nooit.
Let op woorden als always, often, every, usually, never ...

Regel:
Om wie gaat het?
he/she/it/1 persoon/1 object = werkwoord +s
I/you/we/they = werkwoord

(walk) She often ......... to school alone.
             She often walks to school alone.

Dit gebruik je als in de zin duidelijk is dat het nu aan de gang is.
Let op woorden als now, at the moment, ...

Regel:
am / are / is + werkwoord + -ing


( walk) She ..... to school at the moment.
              She is walking to school at the moment.

  • Students should have a warm lunch at school.
  • Students need to eat at least 1 fruit or vegetable.
  • Food should not have any salt on it.
  • Sauces should be banned.

Make your own menu! (10 min.)
Je gaat je eigen menu maken voor een school kantine:
  • Werk zelfstandig of met een andere leerling.
  • Bedenk samen een menu dat bestaat uit 4 onderdelen (puree, soep, crackers, ...)
  • Zoek op wat deze woorden zijn in het Engels.
  • Gebruik je boek. De woorden achterin kunnen je helpen met de vertaling.
  • Steek je hand op als je hulp nodig hebt.
  • Je presenteert in het Engels wat het menu is.

Uitdaging: geef je menu een thema, zoals Frans, Brits , junkfood, zomer.
